Publishing Vision
Our purpose is to make Swedenborg’s works and ideas accessible to people in every area of society in a way that is pragmatic and respectful of others’ beliefs.
To serve this purpose, our vision is to be known as a primary resource for reliable, relevant, and effective information applicable to life or the advancement of thought about Swedenborg that has no belief-based barriers for people to access.
To manifest our vision, the Swedenborg Foundation desires to network with authors to produce both scholarly and trade titles which break new ground in the application or understanding of Swedenborg’s ideas.
Submissions are welcome in any field of study, but the Foundation has a particular interest in works which focus on the overlap of Swedenborg’s ideas with modern issues and/or areas of research, such as psychotherapy, consciousness studies, and spirituality, offering the possibility of generating new insights by bringing Swedenborg’s ideas to sectors of society at a level unreached before.
We are interested in both scholarly works which reflect formal research and trade works which appeal to the general public. All scholarly works undergo a peer review process.

All submissions should include as attachments:
- A cover letter
- The complete manuscript, or sample chapters if submitting a proposal
- Synopsis and chapter outline or table of contents
- Author’s C.V.
- Marketing plan (in the form fields or as an attachment)
